Warner Bros. TV is in the early stages of a reboot of the "Alien Life Form" sitcom that aired on NBC from 1986 to 1990, starring the cuddly, beloved, sarcastic and very hairy extraterrestrial, according to TVLine. WBTV is searching for a writer for the potential reboot. As Michael Ausiello notes, the character ALF "remains something of a hot pop culture property" despite his sitcom ending 28 years ago. ALF has popped up on everything from The Simpsons to The Big Bang Theory to Guardians of the Galaxy and commercials for DirecTV and Radio Shack. Ausiello says it's unclear if Paul Fusco, ALF's voice and puppeteer, will have any connection to the potential reboot.
