Referring to Seacrest's Dick Clark New Year's Rockin' Eve as "Ryan Seacrest’s group of losers" was the "only" thing Cohen said Monday that he regretted from his fifth time co-hosting CNN's New Year's Eve Live with Anderson Cooper. “If you look behind me, you’ll see Ryan Seacrest’s group of losers performing," said Cohen. "I’m sorry but if you’re watching ABC, you’re watching nothing." Despite also causing controversy for drunkenly ripping exiting New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio with a "Sayonara, Sucka!" rant, Cohen said on his SiriusXM radio show this morning: “The only thing that I regret saying, the only thing is that I slammed the ABC broadcast and I really like Ryan Seacrest and he’s a great guy. And I really regret saying that, and I was just stupid and drunk and feeling it.” Will Cohen return for a sixth year? Radar claims Cohen won't be invited back, but his exit hasn't been confirmed or reported elsewhere. Meanwhile, Radar says CNN staffers are venting that Cohen is hurting the cable news network's reputation, pointing out that he's not even an employee. UPDATE: CNN is standing by Andy Cohen, saying he'll be back next year: "Andy said something he shouldn't have on live TV," CNN said in a statement to E! News. "We've addressed it with him and look forward to having him back again next year."
