Richter, who recently had heavy-duty WiFi equipment installed at his home to boost the performance for his work on Conan and Fox's Anidom Beyond Show, can see "at home" talk shows becoming the new normal. “Look we’re doing a show and we’re not leaving the house, maybe that could continue!” he tells Variety. “I wouldn’t be surprised if the combination of the convenience of it and the fact that show business likes anything that's cheap. Before this they would say, ‘this isn’t high enough quality.’ Now that it’s already been on the air and it’s so cheap, they’ll probably go, ‘yeah I think we could do lots of shows on our computer!'”
