Richter and Louis CK were colleagues when Conan O’Brien launched his Late Night show in September 1993, with CK serving as a staff writer. On Thursday night, Richter tweeted a link to the recent GQ article, “Why All the Comedy Men Are So Awful,” which takes down Louis CK’s statement addressing his sexual misconduct and his “playing the victim” brand of comedy. “Nail, meet hammer,” Richter wrote in his tweet. Conan, meanwhile, has yet to weigh in on Louis CK as his last show was taped a few hours after The New York Times bombshell. He did tweet last Saturday: "I'm ready for the all-female reboot of America."
