The Jason Sudeikis-led sports comedy that he co-created with Bill Lawrence has been picked up for a 10-episode second season. The pickup comes after reportedly having a strong start, with its first three episodes ranking as the top Apple TV+ title in the U.S., UK, Australia, Germany, Mexico, France and Canada last weekend. Season 2 is expected to premiere next year. It's unclear when Season 2 will film, but Lawrence recently told The Hollywood Reporter's TV's Top 5 podcast that he won't incorporate the coronavirus pandemic in future scripts.
