Awkwafina to announce New York City subway stops as part of a Comedy Central promotion

The cable network has set an unusual deal with MTA New York City Transit to have Awkwafina become the first-ever celebrity announcer for subway stops. Starting today through Jan. 22, when Awkwafina Is Nora From Queens premieres, Awkwafina will announce the 22 stops on the train that runs through the heart of Queens and into Manhattan.
