The former first couple have seven projects in the works, including scripted anthology series Overlooked based on The New York Times' obituary column of the same name and nonfiction series Fifth Risk, based on the Michael Lewis Trump administration book. "We created (production company) Higher Ground to harness the power of storytelling. That’s why we couldn’t be more excited about these projects,” former President Obama said in a statement. “Touching on issues of race and class, democracy and civil rights, and much more, we believe each of these productions won’t just entertain, but will educate, connect, and inspire us all.” Other TV projects in the works include Bloom, a scripted drama set in the fashion world of post-World War II New York and preschool TV series Listen to Your Vegetables & Eat Your Parents.
