"Some of the last people in the world to find out about the rapid spread of Covid-19 are a group of 14 men and women sitting in a house in Cologne, western Germany, where they are competing in the country’s 13th season of the reality TV show Big Brother," reports The Guardian, noting that most of the contestants have been competing on the reality show since Feb. 6, while some entered knowing about the coronavirus on March 6. German TV channel Sat.1 initially said it would keep the contestants in the dark. But after social media uproar, the channel changed its position and announced a live special episode that will inform the contestants, allow them to ask questions and receive video messages from loved ones.
