One of the lawyers interviewed in Framing Britney Spears was Vivian Thoreen, who at the time was a former attorney on Jamie Spears' conservatorship team. Thoreen discussed the conservatorship with the documentarians, but declined to go into specifics. After the interview, the documentary put up a card stating: "Shortly after filming this interview, Vivian Thoreen rejoined the conservatorship legal team representing Jamie Spears." On Thursday, Thoreen was in court arguing that Jamie Spears should have the power to delegate investment powers. Last year, the court appointed Bessemer Trust as a co-conservator with Jamie Spears. Thoreen argued that Jamie Spears simply wanted "to be able to delegate the investment decision authority to Bessemer." The judge denied Thoreen's objection.
