About 3.56 million total viewers watched last night's Season 6 premiere -- up 82% from last season's premiere on Fox. That's the best viewership since Jan. 1, 2017, when the then-Fox comedy received a boost from an NFL game. Demo-wise, Brooklyn Nine-Nine improved on timeslot predecessor Will & Grace by 50%. Brooklyn Nine-Nine also had NBC's best same-day rating for a Thursday comedy this season. The Good Place, paired with Brooklyn Nine-Nine for the first time, returned to 2.8 million viewers, which is on par with its fall ratings.
