Busy Philipps is Doing Her Best, launching Aug. 17, will be co-hosted by Philipps alongside creative partner Caissie St. Onge and Shantira Jackson, both of whom wrote on Busy Tonight. "I want to talk to people who have had, it doesn't even have to be career setbacks, but people who thought that they were going to become one thing and they ended up living in a totally different life," Philipps tells The Hollywood Reporter. "I just feel like it's inspiring to me to hear those stories because it's a motivator for me to keep going and to be open to the possibility that the thing that I thought (was it) might not be the thing, but the thing might be even better." The late-night talk show Busy Tonight aired on E! from October 2018 until it was canceled in May 2019.
