Ryan Kadro, who has helmed the CBS News morning show since April 2016, is in talks to step down from his position and will likely leave the network, according to Vulture and other outlets. A CBS News spokesperson says "these conversations are unrelated to the settlement.” Still, as Vulture notes, the sexual harassment lawsuit filed by three former CBS News employees in May over Charlie Rose's sexual misconduct, which was settled on Tuesday, accused Kadro of knowing that Rose “had a history of sexual harassment” but encouraged one of them to work more closely with Rose at his company anyway. Kadro replaced Chris Licht, who left CBS This Morning to become executive producer of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
