At least two of CBS' 14 board members have questioned whether Moonves should continue leading the network while he is under investigation for the alleged sexual harassment that was detailed Friday in Ronan Farrow's New Yorker exposé. In a previously scheduled meeting on Monday, the board is expected to discuss whether CBS should have a temporary leader while Moonves is being investigated. According to The Wall Street Journal, the board is also expected to select a special committee to oversee the investigation. “I think the board realizes as a whole that this is a very, very, very serious situation,” a source told the Wall Street Journal. “While there is an important Les piece to this, really, more important to the company as a whole is that this raises serious issues with regard to culture and harassment throughout the company.” Meanwhile, CBS uber-producer Chuck Lorre tried to dodge questions about Moonves while speaking at a panel on Sunday abouti his new Netflix comedy The Kominsky Method: "What's going on with CBS, let's talk later," he said. "I don't think this is the venue to discuss what is going on there. I do think it's important to have a safe work environment...You can't do good work in an unsafe environment, and it had to be made safe for everyone."
