CNN announced today that "there will be no show of hands or one-word, down-the-line questions" at its Democratic primary debate in Detroit on July 30 and 31. The rule seems to be in response to NBC News' Todd, who was criticized for his question style during the first debate. CNN also announced that "a candidate who consistently interrupts will have his or her time reduced." ALSO: ABC News and Univision are expected to host the third Democratic debate from Houston on Sept. 12 and 13.
