According to The New York Times and Page Six, the CNN president was willing to allow the CBS Mornings anchor to host CNN's 9 p.m. hour from. Los Angeles. King's contract with CBS News expires in May. Although there are indications she'll stick with CBS, a contract renewal hasn't been made official.
