CW boss: Gender non-conforming drama pilot Glamorious is "very, very funny," but it needs retooling

"We are still looking at Glamorous,” The CW President Mark Pedowitz said during his network's upfronts conference call. “It is very, very funny. We will take a harder look at it when we go back to Los Angeles....We believe Ben J. Pierce is a star. It needs some retooling so we can try to move forward with it." Pierce, 20, plays the teenage gender non-conforming lead role, co-starring with Brooke Shields.
