California Gov. Gavin Newsom and his office tweeted a video Tuesday afternoon urging his followers to "Listen to Larry David." In the public service announcement, the Curb Your Enthusiasm star said people refusing to stay home are "hurting old people like me." "Obviously somebody put me up to this, 'cause it's generally not the kind of thing I do, but, basically I want to address the idiots out there," he said in urging people to stay quarantined at home. David added: "The problem is, you're passing up a fantastic opportunity, a once in a lifetime opportunity to stay at home and sit on the couch and watch TV! Go home, watch TV. That's my advice to you. If you've seen my show... nothing good ever happens going out of the house, it's just trouble out there."
