Cary Fukunaga to direct the first three episodes of Masters of the Air, Apple TV+' World War II drama

Masters of the Air, HBO's follow-up to Band of Brothers and The Pacific ,will mark the Emmy-winning director's third TV series, following Netflix's Maniac and HBO's True Detective. Variety also reports that Fukunaga is nearing a first-look deal with Apple.
