With this week's Season 14 premiere, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet are tied for the record of longest-running live-action sitcoms. “We don’t have a lot of hardware accolades to brag about,” admits Day. “So I guess we can brag about statistics...I honestly don’t have a clue why it’s lasted this long,” he adds. “We’ve always been a bit of a counterculture show. We started out as the anti-sitcom.
