Page Six reported that the Fixer Upper stars were unhappy with their “horrible contracts,” and they were departing their show in hopes of getting a more lucrative contract when Discovery Communications buys Scripps, which owns HGTV. A spokesperson for the couple refutes the report, saying their departure is “based on wanting to catch their breath for a minute…It is not based on anything else people might read.”
