“Chris Noth will no longer film additional episodes of The Equalizer, effective immediately,” Universal Television and CBS said in statement Monday afternoon. Noth starred on the CBS drama as quirky ex-CIA director William Bishop, a friend and former handler of Queen Latifah's lead character. The Equalizer is currently in its second season after premiering earlier this year after the Super Bowl. Noth will appear in one more episode of the show that has already completed production. Noth's firing comes four days after a The Hollywood Reporter story detailed separate allegations of sexual assault against Noth from two different women, taking place in 2004 and 2015. On Friday, a third woman came forward to The Daily Beast, accusing Noth of sexual assault in 2010. Noth's firing is the latest fallout from The Hollywood Reporter story. Peloton pulled a viral ad starring Noth that was made in response to his Mr. Big character's death on Sex and the City revival series And Just Like That. He was also dropped as a client of A3 Artists Agency.
