Daniel Tosh's pop-culture show will end with a 10-episode Season 12 this fall. The cancelation comes after Comedy Central renewed Tosh.0 in January for four seasons, through Season 16, and signed Tosh to an overall deal. The renewal for 80 episodes would've taken Tosh.0, which premiered in 2009, through 2024. Tosh.0 is the second Comedy Central show to be canceled in the pas despite being renewed in the past 24 hours. Drunk History was canceled Wednesday after six seasons despite its Season 7 renewal. The cancelation comes as Comedy Central is focusing more on adult animation, topical series like The Daily Show and comedic made-for-TV feature films. “I look forward to doing an animated reboot of my show on MTV in 25 years,” Tosh said in a statement Thursday, joking about Comedy Central's recent reboots of Beavis and Butt-Head and Ren & Stimpy. Tosh.0 ranked as the No. 1 show for men ages 18-34 for every year that it was on. According to The Hollywood Reporter, ViacomCBS will help Tosh shop his show to other outlets.
