Some on social media praised the late-night host for tackling serious issues in the Conan Without Borders special, while others found it didn’t go far in exploring the seriousness of the country’s divisive issues. “It is impossible to do justice in 40 minutes to the incredibly complex and polarizing country of Israel,” Conan said at the end of his program. “But I did accomplish my goal, which was to make friends wherever I went.”
