“We do have one very specific condition. You must come here to Danbury and be physically present when we cut the ribbon,” Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton said in a Facebook video posted Sunday. Boughton agreed to accept the offer after saying the city would name the sewage plant after the Last Week Tonight host, but later said it was a joke. However, Oliver liked the idea and offered to donate $55,000 to charity if the sewage plant naming became a reality.
