David Hasselhoff will play himself in a German TV series

Hasselhoff, who became an unlikely pop-star in Germany after the fall of the Berlin Wall, is going meta in the dark German comedy Ze Network. He'll play himself cast in a theater play in Germany only to be caught up in an international conspiracy of former Cold War assassins.
