Daytime Emmys merges younger actor and actress categories so it won't be gender specific

There will only be a single young drama performer category for the next Daytime Emmy Awards. The merged category will also combine broadcast and digital dramas. The categories for outstanding young actor and outstanding young actress were introduced to the Daytime Emmys in 1985.
