Wolf wants either FBI or its forthcoming spinoff FBI: Most Wanted to cross over with one of his NBC shows, either Law & Order: Special Victims Unit or Chicago P.D. The final decision “depends on which story wins," Wolf told Variety at the Monte Carlo TV Festival. Wolf said the potential crossover, which is still in its very early stages, was his idea and that both CBS and NBC are on board, though that hasn't been confirmed. “CBS and NBC both want to do it – whether they can figure it out is above my pay grade,” he said. Wolf said the crossover could make sense since New York's Special Victims Unit frequently deals with the FBI. As TVLine points out: "Technically, this wouldn’t be the first time that one of Wolf’s shows crossed over with a show on another network. SVU‘s Det. John Munch appeared in a Season 5 episode of HBO’s The Wire — though it’d be unfair to categorize it as a full-fledged crossover."
