Officially, HBO is blaming “production and scheduling conflicts” for David Benioff and D.B. Weiss' decision to not attend Friday's Game of Thrones panel. But it's a little suspicious that they opted to drop out of Comic-Con 48 hours before the panel was scheduled to take place.
