The former Real Housewives of New Jersey star's ex-husband Tommy Manzo allegedly recruited a member of the Lucchese crime family to assault David Cantin, her current husband, when they were dating in July 2015, according to the federal indictment. The alleged mobster, John Perna, was "offered to hold the reception for free or at a deeply discounted price if" he committed a violent assault on Cantin, according to the federal charges. Later in 2015, Perna and an accomplice followed Cantin "to a strip mall in Passaic County, New Jersey," where the pair "attacked" Cantin "in the parking lot," according to the indictment. Dina Manzo's husband has pleaded not guilty.
