E! News’ Ken Baker accused of sexual harassment

  • A former E! News employee and a former E! News intern are accusing Baker of sexual harassment without revealing their names, according to The Wrap. Baker, a longtime employee of E! News, had been accused of inappropriate behavior in the past. In 2007, when Baker worked at Us Weekly, a lawsuit (which was later dismissed) accused him of hiring his nanny as a reporter and texting her with sexual come-ons. Recently, Baker has been outspoken against Harvey Weinstein’s behavior while promoting his new book, The Ken Commandments: My Search for God in Hollywood. In response to the accusations, Baker said in a statement: “I am very disturbed by these anonymous allegations, which make my heart ache. I take them very seriously.” E! also issued a statement saying: “We take all complaints of misconduct seriously, and thoroughly investigate all allegations of harassment.”
