E! cancels E! News, Pop of the Morning and In the Room

The three New York-based shows have been axed as E!'s parent company, NBC Universal, "looks to streamline its programming and restructure internally to create more efficiencies," reports Variety. The coronavirus pandemic also played a role in the cancelations. E! News premiered its New York-based morning show in January after moving from its longtime home in Los Angeles.
