Elmer J. Fudd banned from having a gun on new HBO Max Looney Tunes episodes in response to U.S. gun violence

The classic Warner Bros. cartoon character will still hunt on the new series, but will use a scythe. “We’re not doing guns,” executive producer Peter Browngardt recently told The New York Times. “But we can do cartoony violence – TNT, the Acme stuff.”
