Emmy producers apologize for using a picture of a living composer for the "In Memoriam" segment

The TV academy, Fox and Emmy producers said in a statement issued Monday that it was an “error" that the "In Memoriam" segment featured the very much alive Leonard Slatkin instead of André Previn, who died earlier this year at age 89. ALSO: Slatkin talks to Jimmy Kimmel about learning he was dead.
