Emmy submissions are down significantly in wake of the pandemic

The number of drama series submissions fell from 197 last year to 133, while comedy submissions dropped from 111 to 68. Limited series only saw the number of submissions decline from 41 to 37. Meanwhile, the TV movie category is up, from 28 submissions last year to 41 this year.
