Emmy-winning Sesame Street composer Stephen J. Lawrence dies at 82

Lawrence composed more than 300 songs and scores for the groundbreaking kids' show, including “Fuzzy and Blue (and Orange),” co-written with David Axelrod. He received three Daytime Emmys for outstanding achievement in music direction and composition for his work on Sesame Street.
