Empire alum Bryshere Gray arrested on domestic violence charges after a long standoff with police

Gray, who played Hakeem Lyon on the Fox drama, was taken into custody early this morning at his home in Arizona after a standoff with a SWAT team and crisis negotiators. TMZ reports police arrived at Gray's home at 10:15 p.m. and it took until 7 a.m. to take Gray into custody. Gray allegedly beat his wife, leaving several visible injuries. His wife was hospitalized and later released.
