Former The Voice contestant Beverly McClellan dies at 49 after battle with cancer

McClellan, the third runner-up on Season 1 of the NBC reality singing competition, died Tuesday afternoon following a lengthy battle with cancer. She became a fan favorite after singing “Piece of My Heart” and joining Christina Aguilera‘s team.
