Fox boss: $3.3 billion for NFL's Thursday Night Football isn't an overpayment

“Any time you go to an auction, somebody wins, and everybody who loses says that the winner overpaid,” Fox Networks CEO Peter Rice says of paying the NFL $3.3 billion over the next five years for Thursday games. “You either have the most-watched content on television, or you don’t have it.”
