Fox finds its new The Cleaning Lady: Élodie Yung

Yung replaces Shannyn Sossamon in the title role in The Cleaning Lady. The pilot was originally about a Filipina doctor who moves to the U.S. to help her son who's suffering from a rare, life-threatening immunodeficiency disorder and ends up becoming an on-call cleaning lady for the mob. Sossamon is multiracial of Filipino descent. But since Yung is multiracial with a Cambodian father and French mother, the character will be changed to reflect the actress' ethnicity.
