Fox gives a pilot order to Bless This Mess from Lake Bell and New Girl creator Liz Meriwether

Bell will star in and direct the pilot of the Nebraska-set comedy that she co-created with Meriwether. However, Bless This Mess will skip the traditional pilot season by shooting its pilot in June. This is Meriwether’s third project to get a pilot order in recent weeks.
