House's David Shore and Homeland's Howard Gordon and Alex Gansa are teaming on an American remake of Accused, which aired on BBC from 2010 to 2012. The Fox version is expected to premiere during the 2022-2023 broadcast season. “Accused is a crime anthology where each episode opens in a courtroom on the accused without knowing their crime or how they ended up on trial," per Variety. "The drama is told from the defendant’s point of view. Viewers discover how an ordinary person got caught up in an extraordinary situation, ultimately revealing how one wrong turn leads to another, until it’s too late to turn back." Accused brings Shore, Gordon and Gansa back into the Fox fold. While Shore created House, Gordon and Gansa were executive producers on The X-Files and 24.
