Union is expected to meet with outside counsel that NBC recently retained following the controversy over her and Julianne Hough's ouster, according to Deadline. It's unclear if anybody from NBC will actually be at the meeting. But Deadline's Dominic Patten reports that Union doesn't intend to return to AGT for a second season, even if asked back. “Gabrielle believes there is a toxicity that has become normalized at Talent,” an insider told Patten on Monday. The source added: “She wants to help fix that, because she loved a lot of her time on the show last season, even with the issues with Simon and what have you. But she could never go back, even if they did a 360 and asked her to for another season — no.” ALSO: Shonda Rhimes and Eva Longoria join in tweeting support for Union while denouncing NBC.
