HBO and the San Diego Comic-Con organizers are in final negotiations for a final Game of Thrones hurrah at Comic-Con, according to Deadline, but don't expect creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss to be there to be confronted by upset fans. George R.R. Martin is, however, expected to attend. There is also a chance that Kit Harington will appear as well, since he "is said to be in the closing stages of his treatment at a Connecticut wellness center that he checked himself into last month," according to Deadline. Exactly which Game of Thrones stars will attend has yet to be revealed. Game of Thrones hasn't been at Comic-Con since 2017, when Season 7 was airing. The HBO drama has been one of the most popular panels at Comic-Con since 2011. ALSO: The most hated final season Game of Thrones episodes are being submitted for Emmy consideration.
