Grand jury indicts Jussie Smollett on 16 felony counts of lying to police

A grand jury on Friday returned two separate sets of charges against the Empire actor, the first related to what Smollett told officers about his allegedly false hate crime attack. The second set of charges are related to a second interview police conducted with Smollett on the day of his alleged attack.
