Berlanti, who now produces a record-breaking 14 TV shows, will stay with Warner Bros. TV through 2024 under his new pact. The deal is only for his TV work. Berlanti, who recently directed Love, Simon, has a separate film deal with Fox. The Hollywood Reporter reports that the deal is "worth $400 million in all-cash guarantees," adding that Warner Bros. executives "aggressively pursued Berlanti for a new deal. Berlanti, who values loyalty, is said to have been happy at the studio and did not take meetings with any other outlet despite interest from Netflix, among other outlets." (Other sources say the deal is worth "more than $300 million.")
