A new study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association found that the March 28 "Silent All These Years" episode inspired by the Brett Kavanaugh hearings that showed the aftermath of a sexual assault led to a large number of "sexual assault hotline" searches on Twitter and Google. RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) saw a 43% jump in calls to its hotline in the 48 hours after the episode aired.
