New Zealand-born comedian Rose Matafeo, who was honored last year with the best comedy show at the Edinburgh Comedy Festival, is writing and starring in the six-episode series about "a young woman in London who works two dead-end jobs and has to navigate the awkward morning after when she discovers the complications of accidentally sleeping with a movie star." Matafeo is working on Starstruck for BBC3, while HBO Max has obtained the U.S. rights.
