The Kaley Cuoco-led comedic thriller was initially billed as a "one and done" limited series, but the actress has been openly pushing for a second season. "Hey, everything's a limited series," Cuoco told The Hollywood Reporter ahead of The Flight Attendant's debut. "If you don't get picked up, you go, 'Oh, that was just a limited series.' If you do get picked up, you're like, 'Yeah, f*ck that. We're doing season two!'" Season 2 is expected to explore new territory after Season 1, which concluded Thursday, adapted Chris Bohjalian's novel of the same name. “We are delighted that the show has resonated so strongly with audiences and critics," said HBO Max and HBO chief content officer Casey Bloys. Cuoco added: “To say that I am elated would be an understatement. The positive response to our show has surpassed all of our expectations and I’m so proud of the entire team behind its success."
