HBO announces voice cast playing His Dark Materials' core daemons

Comedian Cristela Alonzo and Kit Connor, who played a younger version of Elton John in Rocketman, will be among the voices of the daemons. In Philip Pullman’s novels, daemons are physical manifestations of human souls that exist outside the body as talking animal companions.
