HBO cancels The Outsider after one season

Despite strong viewership, the Stephen King horror crime drama led by Cynthia Erivo and Ben Mendelsohn won't return for a second season. The cancelation omes eight months after The Outsider, which premiered in January, aired its final episode. Producer Media Rights Capital plans to shop the series to other outlets.
